Application
An adoption application must be filled out for every animal adopted from PAWS.  An adoption counselor will review your application and discuss any concerns that they have with you.  PAWS may choose to conduct a home-visit to ensure that it is safe and suitable for your chosen pet.  To speed up the adoption process please print and fill out the Adoption Application.

Fees
An Adoption Fee ($150EC for cats and $200EC for dogs) will also be collected for every animal adopted.  For every animals adopted that is not spayed/neutered a $100EC REFUNDABLE deposit will be collected.  The deposit will be returned once proof of surgery has been turned in.  The adoption fee covers de-worming, vaccination, other medical costs, and day-to-day expenses encountered by PAWS while the animal was in our care.

All adopters who rent MUST have permission from their landlord before they will be allowed to adopt from PAWS.

After Adoption
You will be provided with a few days of food to last until your are able to obtain your own from the Hill's Store (for Ross Students) or from IGA/Ram's.  Collars, leashes, and kennels are available to be borrowed from PAWS until you are able to purchase your own.  PAWS also has pet supplies, such as collars, leashes, bowls, toys and treats available for purchase.

PAWS may choose to send a representative to your home for a follow-up visit.  This is to ensure the safety of your pet.  PAWS is also available any time to answer questions or address problems you may have.

PAWS ADOPTERS NOT PERMANENTLY RESIDING IN ST KITTS MUST TAKE THEIR ADOPTED PET
BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY AT THE END OF THEIR STAY.
